My initial theme for the 2020 Inktober was to create images that presented my feelings toward the year 2020. I started things off with a decapitated fish. The text "2020" is can be found in the negative space of the blood

At this point I was beginning to loose interest in the 2020 theme. This is just a silly image of an old man with a nice set of teeth. I didn't really have a plan for this image. I started with the teeth and let the pencil do the rest.
Throwing in the towel on the 2020 theme. It was too depressing.
After the 2020 theme fizzled, I switched over to another idea I had for 2020; "mini landscapes". I've always enjoyed drawing and painting landscapes. Although cliché the ol' "flower breaking through rock" was an easy idea to work off of.
What's a more disgusting landscape than an industrial wasteland?

I switched things up again here and decided to use the "R" shape of my logo as a baseline for all my images going forward. I thought this would be a interesting constraint to work with and could stir up some ideas for logo treatments for this website.
The idea for this image was a shield with my logo on it. Someday I would like to create a high-res digital version of this concept.
I really liked how this one came out. My idea for the image is well represented.
Rotating the logo shape provided some creative flexibility.

I'm an avid golfer, so this idea came to me pretty quickly.
Creating a radial graphic using pen, paper and a ruler is much more difficult than doing it in Photoshop.

A zombie with their skin ripping off... R.I.P. This one could have used some more time. It was an idea that came to me late. My intention is clear, but the facial features need some work.
This was inspired by my dog's love for digging and apparent hatred for chipmunks.
I was watching a lot of documentaries about mountain climbing incidents around the time I made this.
I had very few good ideas for where to go with this image at first. I almost ditched the logo theme to complete it. In the end, I liked how it turned out.
